Southern Wind Shipyard 105 “Friday” Owner’s studio not longer in use, have been asked to be transformed in a lounge area, respecting Shipyard’s furniture style. The concept have been developed respecting easy access to all technical parts/appliances, hidden doors in seats and fore-side cabinet was crafted, to guarantee easy access and maintenance. The more challenging was reproduce furniture, trims and moulding as original. A extra particular attention was paid for veneer selection, used for furniture and bulkheads, its staining and finishing, making new furniture look as part of original lay-out from the Shipyard. Galley area have been improved by new chest of drawers, garbage bins, also integrated with original style furniture, and Corian countertops repaired and polished from heavy use since Boat was launched.
